Description Internetwork Monitor does not work with VLANs or PVCs that

have spaces in their names.

Symptom Internetwork Monitor does not understand VLANs or PVCs that have

spaces in their names. For example, “a test PVC” in not an acceptable

name for a PVC.

Details The Internetwork Monitor launch script as well as Internetwork Monitor

does not parse agent names with spaces in them. [Defect ID 0804–

023267]

Work-Around Avoid naming PVCs and VLANs with names that contain spaces.

Load Monitor

Description Load Monitor in Extended RMON mode for token-ring LanProbe

omits MAC-level octets from Utilization % calculation

Details When using Load Monitor in Extended RMON mode for a token-ring

LanProbe, the Utilization % values in the Time graph do not account for

MAC-level trafﬁc. As such, the Utilization % values will be different from

those shown in standard RMON mode.

Work-Around When viewing Utilization % values for a token-ring LanProbe, use Load

Monitor in standard RMON mode.

Description Load Monitor’s Conversation segment graph shows incorrect

“in” and “out” values

Symptom When displaying the Conversation segment graph, if you display a line

or node label the “in” and “out” values may be incorrect.

Work-Around To see the correct values, change the graph type to bar.
