Manual Switchover Commands
Manual switchover commands can be used to perform manual switchover from the active supervisor to the
redundant supervisor engine.
The redundancy force−switchover command launches the switchover only if the state of the redundant
supervisor engine is Standby Hot. If the state is not Standby Hot, the command does not process. Issue the
redundancy force−switchover command, rather than the reload command, to initiate a switchover. The
