Supervisor Redundancy

Catalyst 4500 Series Switches support redundant supervisor engines only on the 4507R and 4510R chassis.

Redundancy is not supported with earlier supervisor modules (Supervisor I/II/III). The two supervisors should

be inserted into slots 1 and 2 only.
