Small Business switches provide nonblocking, wire-speed switching for

10-, 100-, and 1000-Mb network clients These switches can be used to replace

the current workgroup hub or switch and to deliver full Gigabit speeds to high-

requirement workstations as necessary while continuing to serve other clients at their

current speeds

The switches can also be used to create a local area network within the business,

with appropriate link speeds for each user’s requirements Either way, they’re

perfect for graphics, multimedia, and other applications that have to move large

files across the network quickly In addition, the mini Gigabit Interface Converter

(mini-GBIC) ports enable fiber-optic capability to be implemented easily and
