Using Categories

Within the Live TV submenu you’ll ﬁnd the Categories option. Categories is an alternative guide view, which groups

channels by genre (local, movies, sports, news, etc.)

To access Categories, do this:

1. Press the MENU button on your remote control. The menu screen appears.

2. Select the “Live TV” submenu.

3. Use the DOWN ARROW button to highlight Categories and press OK.

The Categories screen appears. The main categories (HD Channels and SD Channels) are

listed across the top of the page. Genre categories are listed under each main category.

4. Use the UP and DOWN ARROW buttons to highlight a category, and then press OK.

A ﬁltered program guide appears, showing all the channels in the selected category.

NOTE: Exit Categories by pressing Exit to TV on the remote control. It will return you to the full, unﬁltered guide.

Using the Program Guide

Find and select TV programs, recorded shows, and rented videos in the program guide.

To do this:

1. Press the GUIDE button on the remote control. The Guide screen appears.

2. Press the CHANNEL/PAGE button or the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW buttons to scroll vertically through

the program guide. Press the RIGHT ARROW and LEFT ARROW buttons to scroll horizontally through the

program guide.

Note: Use the REW and FF buttons on the remote to advance by day through the guide.

3. To watch the selected program, press the OK button. If the program is currently available, it begins playing.

If the program is not available because it is scheduled for a later time, a Program info screen appears.

4. Use the arrow buttons and the OK button to select one of the options provided on the Program info screen

(e.g. Record episode). Or, press the BACK button to return to the program guide. The options provided on

the Program info screen depend on the type of program selected and when the program is playing.
