Step 4 Gently remove the old ROM with the tool listed below, and set the ROM aside:

• Cisco 3620 or Cisco 3640: ROM extraction tool or a small flat-blade screwdriver

• Cisco 3660: 32-pin PLCC extraction (see Figure 23)
