1. Introduction
The sample configuration, depicted in Figure 1 illustrates an Avaya IP406 Office Server and
Cisco Call Manager operating in different subnets and Virtual LANs (VLANs) connected by an
802.1Q trunk. IP406 Server is configured with extensions within the range 10000 to 19999,
while Cisco Call Manager is configured with extensions within the 20000 to 29999 range. All IP
endpoints are provisioned statically.
